NBOD Nominations

Now Accepting Nominations by Petition

At NAGM 2023 in Atlanta, we will be electing 5 members to the National Board of Directors and a National President.  There will be 4 open positions for a three-year term and 1 open position for a two-year term for the National Board of Directors.  The National President is a one-year term.

There will be three different elections at NAGM 2023 that will happen in this order:

  1. 4 open positions for a three-year term on the Board of Directors
  2. 1 open position for a two-year term on the Board of Directors
  3. 1 open position for a one-year term as National President

Please note:  To be considered for National President, you must first be elected to the National Board of Directors. You can declare your intention to run for the National Board and for National President by selecting both positions on the nomination form. You can also run for both a three-year term and the two-year term, please indicate this on the nomination form if you intend to run for both.  The three-year term election will happen first and if you do not win a three-year term, you can then run for the two-year term if you indicated that you would like to run for both; if you do win a three-year term and indicated that you would also like to run for the two-year term, you will automatically be withdrawn from the two-year term election.  If you are successfully elected to the National Board of Directors at the NAGM, you can immediately be a candidate for National President.

Six (6) executive members or more may submit a petition to the AYSO Office nominating a candidate or candidates to the National Board of Directors or as National President of AYSO.  The Nomination Petition must be received at the AYSO Office by Tuesday, April 18 at 11:59pm.
